Default Could any of the test lugers, be issud with different serial numbers on the frame and

ERIC,esq, was reading the fabulous test results and history in the, Springfield Armory National Historical Site, which is a must read, I noticed that the luger written about, entitled, 'GERMAN PISTOL MODEL 1900, 7.65MM SN#7018 but contained in the lugers' markings is as follows: Barrel: #6196, Frame: #7018 Slide: U.S. Army style eagle. Toggle: DWM (script0, 77. Takedown lever: 18, Side plate: 15, 'Weapon transferred to the Museum in May, 1911, Im confused, which serial number is controlling, You would think a luger givin to the army for testing, would have matching serial numbers. Mine does, #6786, I invite any comments, They had to have their pick,
