Brown Plastic SS Grips ??
Saw these on a nickeled S/42 1938 stamped luger at the local gun shop. Anybody ever hear of or see them before? They fit well and have a brown walnut look to them but are plastic w/ white SS runes on the left side only.

Of course the nickle plating was done by some previous owner who truly loved his gun, but the grips with SS runes are what is puzzling me, I've never seen anything like them. I may ask to have the shop owner take them off to see what could be underneath.

We get asked all the time about nickled officer guns, so, since you didn't say, I thought I should say ...
I have seen grips like these off and on for years in pictures, ALL post war, either by the GI or later. There is a guy on gunbroker who makes some now for you if you want. Ed
