Appears to be a 1906 Swiss commercial that somehow went through Persia at some time. That is assuming that the markings on the left receiver are Farsi!

Quite an interesting mix!
Nice gun anyway.

This pistol goes clear back to the original Dave Sorocco database.

Dwight, would you know whether this otherwise "routine" 1906 Swiss commercial was reported with Farsi markings from the Dave Sorocco database? Is this old database available to Forum members?

First number appears to be Arabic "8", second and third I can't make out, fourth number may be a "one" and the last I also cannot decipher. Certainly does not match the given serial number 50185. Total mystery to me!
