Default 30 Luger brass

Just thought I would pass this on. Got a flyer in the mail Friday from Graf&sons. They have Fiocchi brand 30 Luger brass for sale at $15.99 a hundred. This sounded like a very good price. Hope this helps someone..............................Ray

Thanks for the info. I have never purchased their brass, but have shot a fair amount of their ammo, and reloaded their brass with no problem. I have been buying Starline brass, and have been very happy with it. Once in a great while, I can find some used 30Luger brass at gun shows, and if the price is anywhere close to being right, it comes home with me.

Default 7.65 Fiocchi brass

I ordered 500 rnds of the Fiocchi brass from Graf&son recently because I will soon be recieving a Mauser Parabellum in 7.65 Luger caliber. Upon inspection of the Fiocchi brass I was very disappointed. The flash holes in all of the cases were extremely OFF-CENTER! The brass were in 2 250 rnd. bags and I checked both bags to be sure everything was the same. Both bags were the same. Some of the flash holes were so far off-center as to actually touch the wall of the primer pocket! I called Graf immediately and told them of the junk brass. They offered me a $20.00 refund on my card if I would keep the brass, I refused and said I would pay the shipping to return the brass if they would exchange it for Starline. They finally agreed and I sent it back Saturday morning. This has been my first and probably last experience with any Fiocchi product. Obviously, brass such as this should have been SCRAPPED at the factory and never made it out the door......................................Ray

That's good to know!

I bought 30 Luger [Winchester] and 30 Mauser [Starline] brass from Midway, and have no complaints about either.

Thank you for that information. As I said above, I have never purchased any Fiocchi brass, and it looks like I may just keep it that way. I will have to say, the Fiocchi brass that I reloaded went bang every time. This brass may be a reject load that wasn't rejected.
