Default Crown stamp on 1918 Holster

I have holster made by Kern Klager & Cle, dated 1918 over Neu-Ulm.

Just below the LH belt strap it has a crown over an I. stamp. Can anyone tell me what it might represent.

Murray,

Great Barrier Island NZ

Default Crown stamp (Wrong Answer) on 1918 Holster

Sorry Guys, but I must respectuflly disagre. th A crown over a Roman I is a property mark for the first Bavarian corps. You will find Crown over I-IV but the IV is very scarce; see Knolls book.

Hope this helps,

Tom

Tom,

Thanks for your input and also thanks for the cleaning rod for my 1911 Eurfurt cased presentation. Looks great.

Murray.

PS. Dont have a spare firing pin do you!

I need one for a nice 1915 DWM I picked up last week.
