Default Holster unit marks

I have a converted Reichsrevolver holster exactly the same appearance as the one shown on page 35 of Jan C Still's book on Imperial lugers.

It has no makers name or year but I assume that it is Circa 1910.It is in very good condition.

Inside the flap area it is stamped 2TB.

Would any one know or could suggest is this a makers stamp or a unit mark and if so whom or what? Help please.

Default Re: Holster unit marks

It might refer to a Train Batallion (Medical unit). Without a maker or year it could be around 1909-1910 but look very closely in bright light at the inside surface of the lid. The maker and date can be very hard to see on these early holsters. I have seen converted RR holsters up to 1915-1916 period so this conversion work was done for several years.
