Default winchester "BEB" shell JAMS

the other week i posted a note on my p-38 byf43 and p-08 "G" jamming when using the winchester winclean "BEB" shells. well, went back out today with FMJ's and glad to say all guns working fine. 100 rounds and no jams. must be a problem with the blunt heads vs, the smooth round heads of the FMJ's.

I took my ac 44 out yesterday and ran about 100 of three types of ammo, all round nose FMJs, it functioned flawlessly. If I could only get the P08 to do the same. But I'm working on it.

There are a longer HP and tend to feed better and they are accurate. Loaded ammo is expensive.

Ed; no doubt about it, the Silvertips shoot best of all in my Lugers too. I believe it is because of the softer jackets being a tighter fit in the barrel. VERY expensive for target shooting, but I did buy 1,000 from Midway.
