I don't think so... but will check. I think I'll post it with something like this:

"Is it true that Lugers were shipped with Rust on them from the factory when they were new?"

Marc -

Per Don Voight's suggestion, I read the FAQ for Luger Manufacturers (Hi-Res pg 6-7). AIMCO is included but Eugene Golubstov is not. Mike Krause is also not noted.

I can understand Martz not being included (he made his from existing Lugers) but Krause and Eugene made theirs from scratch.

Worth a note???

I pretty much stopped at the ones made for mass commercial and military markets. It's sufficiently unusual to find one of these that details are not well documented either.

If some threads start up and provide source material, I'll revisit this.

I just posted the 1 March 2019 update of the Lugerforum FAQ PDF document.

http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthread.php?t=13121

It adds a discussion of point of aim as well as an item on the "n" versus "p" suffix letter found on 1941 "41" date Mauser lugers, including illustrations.

That's when I did the last update. I'll be working on it again soon. I try and update this once or twice a year, and keep notes on what to add here in this post.
