Holster Markings for 1918 DWM SB 5528

Here is photo for back of holster as the front and the Luger is shown in previous post. Should I treat the leather where the black is gone? An interesting note is that where the V shaped notches are cut out of the belt loops is that the wire attachment for a GI web belt fit perfectly. Maybe the GI that liberated it wore it in combat. I like to put nothing on holsters. However, I would probably treat yours, using somehting like Connoly's leather treatment. Do NOT use anything like mink oil or anything that makes the leather softer...

Ed lives under a bridge in Denver. His only possessions are a lap top and a cardboard sign that says "Will work for Band-width".

Richard, Take Ed's advice. I do not apply anything to holsters that do not need it either but the hinge on this one needs attention.

This holster is deffinately a candidate for some Connoly's hide food.

You can find it FS on line and also at over the counter at Jaguar and Rolls Royce dealerships. A fine product.

I bought mine off of ebay, and I think you can get it at Brownells. The internet is exactly for this type of service, as we used to live in the country (wish we still did) and mister postman is my friend.
