Nuts...!!!
I think the seller will be quite happy with the auction-fenzy on this piece. I was willing to jump in for $ 130 or so...but look at the bidding...over $400...

Nickle plated and no Swiss marking..buffed out corners and uneven radiuses... A P.T. Barnum special it seems to me.

Judging by the high bidder's user name, I think it might well be Hillary Clinton. I always thought she was just in to confiscating guns.

Hey Albert,
I was hoping to pick up this item so I could get the MTV crew and "Xibit" over to my house to "pimp my luger"... (Since you are out-of-the-country and cannot see our fine cultural offerings on American TV...this is a reference to a popular TV show where a rap music artist and some custom-car makers go find a piece of junk car owned by a deserving underpriviledged person, spend $ 20-40K and really re-do and "pimp" up the car...fascinating TV cultural event...one not to be missed.) Regards, Pete... |

Pete,
"Pimp my Luger" is a hilarious concept. Maybe even deserves it own discussion forum. Down-on-their-luck members could post pictures of their needy lugers. The guys with the ones which look like they've already been done, could pose holding their beauties in oversized jeans drooping to the floor. Maybe even firing the luger Gangsta' style - holding it on it's side !! Okay, maybe not. Fritz. |

I assume then, that this vise is a later reproduction?
What are these reproductions actually valued at?
