Post Simpson Luger Grips & Mag

Hello,

Still's Weimar book is a bit short on details regarding the Simpson Lugers.

1.GRIPS--should they be #'d to the gun and are they proofed?

2.Mags--same thing--should they be numbered to the gun and have a Simpson proof on the spine?

Thanks

Snookum, Your Simson grips and mag should both be numbered and proofed. The mags usually have and E/6 on the bottom of the spine and an addition proof or 2 on the aluminum bottom. TH
