Default Need help with a 41 Black Widow

I've come across a 1941 P08 which appears to be a Black Widow 41 according to all the markings, only the serial number is only 3 digits? Is that correct?

Not sure what you mean by Black Widow markings. Black Widow is a meaninless designation dreamed up by a US dealer for Lugers with Black grips. The markings are the same.Yes a 3 digit serial number can be correct. Can you give us some pictures? Welcome to the Forum. Bill

As Wlyon states above...Your pistol with a 3 digit serial number is authentic and correct.

How do I determine ball park value and is this an early Luger, and the only reason I mentioned Black Widow is the book I got on Luger markings classifies this as either early/late BW 41?

Thanks

We cannot provide any type of value estimate without a good series of clear focus photographs of the complete gun from all angles... outdoors on a clear overcast day should be a good start for good lighting. All markings should be clearly shown.
