Post Proof Marks on 1938 S/42?

Was checking the proof marks on the site. The three proof marks on the right side of my gun seem different than the three shown on proof numbers 46 or 47 shown on the site which is what I thought they should be.

The left and center proofs on my gun appear similar to sites except mine have a two digit number underneath more like the sites number 45. The style of wings on mine matches the sites 46 & 47 however more than the sites 45.

The right proof on my gun seems different than 46's or 47's right proof also.

Am I reading the site correctly on proofs?

Are there some normal variations in proofs on 1938 S/42s from what is shown on the site? Especially the right most proof.

hay,

with out a photo of the proofs its hard to say what you have, however you should have a stick wing eagle with 63 and/or 83 depending on the ser # suffix and a drooped wing eagle no number (test proof). The test proof should also be on the barrel.

if you have a photo, please post it.

thanks

Jim
