I "won" a Portuguese holster on Gunbroker. I emailed for the postage
and mailed a money order. A week later he emailed back to say the holster was not available and had been sold by a third party. He returned my money order. Ken D |

Spartacus. I recently bought an RZM ppk from Pizza Guy. He represented it as 99%, but when I got it (in my opinion) it had been refinished. I contacted him immediately about a return. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks he has not returned any of my inquiries. Before the sale he responded very quickly, but once the sale was made he stopped responding. If anyone knows him, I would like to get this matter resolved.

It seems like there are a disproportionate number of shady characters in the Midwest, eh?

'Shady' is generous. Many many years ago in Chicago there was a gun shop I frequented that would 'fence' stolen guns, keep the Good Stuff and then turn-in the seller and remaining guns to the police. I picked up a very nice, if slightly suspect 1920 DWM. It's easy to imagine their progeny learned other skills and, like bacteria, spread out to join local men of 'enterprise' to infect our hobby. Apocryphal perhaps but forgers aren't limited by zip codes or imagination, but the upper mid-west for some reason-------. Cheers, Dick
