Cool

Here are pics of my 1900 American Eagle that Ted Green just restored for me. It has all matching numbers including the grips. The magazine is not numbered, but has the DWM "flaming bomb" proof. This proof is also stamped on the bottom of the takedown bolt well of the frame. Ted did an outstanding job on the bluing, straw and "fire bluing" of the appropiate parts. I am sorry the strawing does not show up better in my pictures, but it is a beautiful golden color.

Wow Hugh,

That is a real beauty. That Ted sure has a way with Lugers. Can't wait to see my 1900AE after he has finished working his magic!

There is something elegant about these Eagles. The dished toggles, the fine finish, the wider trigger guard combined with the narrow trigger. The fire blued front sight and strawed extractor and toggle lock. WOW! And of course the American Eagle is breathtaking! The only detractor in my mind is that recurve main spring.
It seems to me that several have come in at once. I do have to finish Greg's too.

Simply amazing transformation! Talk about beauty and the beast!

This Luger is now the beauty...and that beast "Thor" is the craftsman who made her that way!

Talking

Some of my ancestors came from Leipzig Germany, does that count? Of course my others ones came from Cork Ireland! What a combo!

Your restoration is nothing short of gorgeous and I stand in awe of the magic you work.
