1943 "Watch on the Rhine"
Betty Davis's movie husband , Paul Lukas , an Anti-Nazi underground leader , uses a Luger [it has a grip safety]to dispatch a Romanian pro-Nazi that's going to turn them in for a reward . Pretty good movie . Takes place in Washington DC . The Luger is displayed several times .
