3 digit serial #
I am a new Luger owner and am looking for information on the pistol. Attached are some pictures. Can anyone tell me any details based on the serial number, crown n, date, etc? Is it military, commercial, etc? Any information is greatly appreciated! I am very excited to learn some of the history of this pistol!!!

Yes, although a written description helps too
What caliber is it? What I see is a commercial model with I think is a m suffix, so IMHO too late to be a 'dated' 1920 - so I would guess this was a commercial that went into army service in the early 20's and a unit armorer that put the gov't marking on it.

sorry, it is a 9 mm and does have an "m" suffix. It has matching numbers except for the magazines. The pics probably aren't the best, but any idea of its value? Very cool info, thanks! Also, most of the info I've seen shows Lugers with 4 digit serial numbers. Mine has 3. Does that mean anything?
