Stark magazine
I seem to remember reading about magazines, maybe police magazines marked "STARK" .
This one is the 2nd magazine to a police mag, matching to a Weimar reissue of a 1918 Army. Any information on "Stark"? I did a search on stark, both forums, and found nothing?

Ed are you sure you searched the WHOLE forum? I know that I remember someone (Probably Albert Beliard) making a post concerning STARK magazines... I believe that they are somewhat rare... Remember that you have to use the search function on EACH of the forums... the global search is not functional because it eats up too much server time...

Yes, I know, and so it is hard to use I did a search on Gen discussion, Mil lugers and maybe commercial, then gave it up...
I thought I remembered reading this also...

Guys...
I am away from my books...but seem to remember Sam Costanzo assigning this mark to a German magazine maker in the 1920-30's...was Constanzo proven, subsequently wrong...? Could someone check a Costanzo book and maybe John Walter's book... Regards, Pete... |

Per Costanzo page 207 proof 175 " between 1923/1935" german for "strong" and he rates it "very desirable"...the maker is Stark and Sohne Machinenfabrik. Hope this helps.
