Default Oregon Arms Collectors

I went to the Oregon Arms Collectors show this last weekend and saw couple of very nice displays. One had a near mint Borchardt in the case with all the accessories. The same person also had two of the Ideal stocks. With his other Lugers, including a carbine, it was an incredible display!

I can vouch for the exquisite display of one legendary luger case maker, Ken Coyle, as I had the extreme pleasure to see and photograph these objects at the recent Reno show.

Ken,

Welcome to our forum! I do not post too often as I am not very knowlegeable compared to many others but I do try to learn.

I was one (probably of many) who asked if you had ever fired the Borchardt. I was sure that the answer was no before asking but had to ask anyway. I hope that the hotel gave the Collectors some of their room fee back since the power was our for so long.

Can anyone go to your club meetings?

Ken,

Glad to see you posting, welcome to the Forum.

Steve,

OAC meets usually early in the morning 4th Sunday of every month, at the Cornfoot Road armory. Turnout is not nearly as big as the August show, Lugers are usually pretty sparse but sometimes Jim Waddle sets up there.

Admission is $3 for non-members.
