Yes,
they create hype and dole them out a few at a time.
Keeps them sold and the prices up!

For crying out loud folks...lighten up. This is a friendly forum. No need to go for the jugular for minor mistakes or infrequent posting. This forum is for the enjoyment and enlightenment of individuals that have an interest in Lugers, formal or informal. No need to chastise an inquiry from folks that are not "regulars". A few mistakes should be allowed...even for geezers like me.

His two postings were on this thread and I made the exact same comment before I even realized I made the same comment...

I feel that if you are gonna be on a forum then you should share, you should comment, you should post something, you should not just be a taker of information.

Edward there could be any number of reasons for him not to post. Maybe his mother
drilled it into him growing up, to never talk to strangers. Or his dad may have told if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all.

If I followed that rule, I would never have anything to say...

I have been a member here for more than a few years. I visit the site on a regular basis and have not posted very many times. The reason, I feel that I do not know enough about Lugers or the items attached to the pistols to make any meaningful comment. I joined to learn from knowledgeable people about this firearm. I think many members here are on the site for that reason. I believe that a person who gives advice about a subject should know what he or she is talking about, in my case I do not so, I keep quiet and listen. Just my two cents worth

David, if everyone did that we’d have nothing here.

I simply think folks who don’t share, or civilly comment every now and then are lurkers
