The seller appears to have made an honest attempt to provide good photos of details of the pistol that would be of interest to a potential bidder.

Very nice, clear artillery model. Only needs a wood based numbered mag. I like the photo shot down the barrel.

I have a 1917 DWM Arty Luger which is shootable. Has had much pitted barrel but is still accurate. Some rust on exterior barrel. Mostly matching except trigger housing and mag. Used in Silhouette shooting. New grips, walnut. Asking $1500 so I sort of break even.

I have a mismatched LP08 Artillery, the top half ( barrel, sights, slide, toggle parts, ) is DWM 1917 all matched together, and in really nice unrefinished condition, while the bottom half is mostly matched to itself and carefully refinished hump-framed Mauser from about 1938-'39 era.
The bore is exceptionally clean like the rest of the upper, and the gun looks good and shoots fine. 'Photos available if interested. If no response here, will list on GB soon. |
