Default Lugers in a TV program

Saw this weekend a show called "Got Home Alive" which contained a segment "Kidnapped in Iran". A little tribal activity in Iran results in the kidnapping of an American couple and their interpreter; they're released at the end. "wild-eyed pistol wavers who're not afraid to die..." Anyway, at least one of them is waving a Luger, another waved a possible p-38. Brief glimpses and long shots...did anyone with a faster eye catch any more details?

Interesting how producers / prop designers are transplanting the "Evil" pistols to new contexts...
