Post 1920 Commercial Police

Just picked up a very nice 1920 Commercial Police (sear safety, no mag safety cutout), unit stamped H.P. 495. . The guy who sold it to me said that it was a Hanover Police pistol. However, Gortz&Bryans has the Hanover mark as S.H. . The only other choices which come close are the Potsdam Senior Police Acadamy H.Ps. or Senior Service police acadamy which is HP. (with no period after the H ). G&B have the Hanover Police School as P.H. . Still's Weimar Lugers is no more revealing, and somewhat less detailed.

So much for the extent of my research library. Anybody have some helpful commentary here?
