Coffeee,

I am sure there are others with a better judgement of price. If as you state for condition, and no offense, but it hasn't been reblued at some point, there are several things that will bring the price up.

1. 99% blueing is awful damn good

2. Two matching mags is a real selling point

3. Original matching holster....

But still, value is very hard to judge without lots of good pictures, can you provide that?

We can help if you can scan in or take digital pictures, you are welcome to send them to me and I'll post them for you.

Ed

Coffeee, the magazine/clip rule is pretty clear!!

Clips feed magazines; magazines feed weapons!!

Hope this helps a bit!

I have seen guns sell, similar too your discription, for as much as $2,300.00....this is not saying yours is worth that, not with out studying the gun, this is not those East German reworks and someones back yard gunsmith put togethers, but the real deals.

Check some of the retailing dealers lists and compare, I can tell you that if the gun is as clean as you say, and it was offered on some of the bigger dealers lists, a complete rig, all matching could go even higher, perhaps by a few hundred. Then again if a collector is a bit short on funds and is looking for the best deal he can find, and the seller wanted out fast, it could go for a bit less...horse trading I guess. When you get it all setteled out, and can provide a few pictures, I may be interested, thanks...and remember I am going only on your discription, and with respect, I am not sure if you are 100% correct. Can't tell you how many time thing like this turn out very different then the way they started....have a good day

Keep us all informed. You might be able to sell it here to a member without the problems of expenses and time incurred by selling it someplace else. I may be interested myself.

Mr. Coffee, If this pistol has been in your family for a long time I would advise you to reconsider the sale. There could be a feeling of emotional emptiness that will awaken sooner or even years from now. I speak from experience. My Great Grandfathers broken gold watch in trade for that ellusive ... The deal was good. The money also was great. But it was not a good investement. Please reconsider. Don't consider it as a loss not to sell. Think of it as preserving family heritige. You CAN'T retrieve that. I emphasize YOU CAN'T RETRIEVE HERITERAGE.

I agree, if it has been in your family that long, you will miss it. I too have sold things that had no "meaning" , only to later feel as if I had somehow betrayed myself or my family members.
