.30 Luger caliber dummies

Hi,
does anyone know a manufacturer/supplier for .30 Luger caliber dummies?
I'm interested for dry-firing.

I have looked all over the place and have not found any .30 Luger dummies. I would like to have some myself.

I asked that question to a vender at a gunshow, who was selling many different caliber snap caps. He said the demand was to low to offset the cost of making the molds for 30 Luger.

Take a fired case, pop out the primer. Glue a piece of rubber (from an eraser, for example) in the primer pocket, ready

And if you are completely lazy, just use a spent case and a spare firing pin.

Taking this one step further, I build complete dummy rounds.
Pull the bullet on a live round, remove powder, safely fire and remove the primer, follow Vlim's advice and place a pencil eraser or silicone from a tube in the primer pocket, fill cartridge case with sand or other neutral media, epoxy the bullet back into the case.
Voila! a dummy round.

I have built these in various calibers. My son learned to load a Garand this way safely. I also give them a pass with red spray paint to quickly distinguish these from live rounds.

Vlim's suggestion is what I have used for years for snap caps in calibers that are rare to find them. I buy those large pink desk erasers (like you used to use in school if you made as many mistakes as I did) and I use to have a piece of brass or steel tubing that was just the right size to jam down in the eraser and pull out a primer sized piece of rubber to glue into the primer pocket. They last for hundred's of snaps and then I just make another one...

Loading the dummy with a small nut or a metal ball (from a ball bearing) helps to identify it as such. Normal ammo doesn't rattle

I realize now that making a dummy by myself is not so difficult as I expected.
I will try to prepare some using your suggestions, for many and many dry shots!
Since some months it is also difficult to find .30 Luger live rounds in my area.
I normally use Fiocchi (of course, I live in Italy) but they don't produce so often, as this is a caliber considered uncommon.
Anyway, I cannot make a stock purchase when I find them, as we are allowed to own 200 rounds maximum and I also shot 7,65 Browning with my Beretta M35 and my CZ 27.

Hello all;
Brownells www.brownells.com use to carry these.
WARNING, They can only be used for dry fireing if you remove the strike or better yet have a old striker with the tip removed as the dummies have a sold case head, with no primer pocket.
I have not checked to see if they are still carrying this item.
