Default Thanks for all the help but the Luger is gone.

Just found out that I will not be getting my grandfathers Luger back even tho I am not being charged with anything by Balto co. police. They lied to me, came into my home and stole my grandfathers Luger and after talking with the 2nd Amendment foundation and the NRA there is nothing I can do about it. Sure I could try to sue the police and the state of Maryland but they have way more money then I do and it'd be a waste of time.

I wanted to thank everyone for all their help and well wishes and kind words but I guess I have no more reason to hang out here as I no longer have my Luger or any of its parts and I doubt I'd even try to buy another one as I don't want any more trouble from the police. Its just a shame I thought in this country we had the right to keep guns but it seems the 2nd amendment isn't as strong as I thought it was. And to think I fought for this country.

Good luck to everyone, watch your guns cause the govt. sure is. I pray none of you have to go thru what I have. Maybe when we move out of this state I'll consider getting one again but for now I'm afraid to.

That is a shame but does not surprise me.

Govt rarley has to pay for their indescretions.

The founding fathers would be ashamed at the way Federal and State govts act today.

My family left Maryland in 1865 after the Maryland government confiscated all their land for unpaid taxes during the war (the men were all in the Confederate army). I suggest you pack-up and leave Maryland also.

It costs very little to file a lawsuit. I would do that anyway and try to get as much media attention as possible (legally!). If they don't have a legal leg to stand on they might cave on the first go.

I see a lawyer about this on Friday, supposedly the police can not confiscate it without legal reason. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

And in answer to the above question, Yes Maryland is a Nazi controlled state.

And i used to think CA was bad,MD sounds 10 times worse. In CA handguns are only registered if you bought them at a dealer, and there are millions of unregistered handguns out there. And it's legal to own an unregistered handgun;however Assult weapons(whatever that means) are stolen by the state all the time in raids.Glad i do not live in MD.

Talked to my lawyer today and he said he's going to contact Balto Co police and see why they think they are entitled to take the Luger. He says they can not and it will come home, but I'm not holding my breath.
