Blast from the past
Just got in from the backwoods, really is only 3 miles from house, took a Remingtom 1911A1 made in 1945, a Radom made in 42, a PP made in 74, and of course my 1918 Erfurt. Repairs and tune up is complete. One misfeed out of 50 with Wolf ammo, the Speer fmj 115 grain was very good, I found a few hundred rounds of Finnish 9mm made in 62, the Luger took to them like high octane in a muscle car. Fired 25 of these and the gun was literally singing. Accuracy very good with the Luger, others acceptable. Only problem was occasionally the safety is kicked back on recoil. How do I fix this? Gotta clean some guns, be back later.
