Different gun, different mag. Same seller. All three he has/had for sale are bargains.

Sorry this stinks!!!!!

Hopefully you can get the envelope delivery stopped

Seams one of the only ways to find or get a good deal on GB is when a Seller has little to no history but then there just seams to be a huge risk and it also seams to be getting worse

Just about the time when you have had no problems, and start to believe in folks, a damn crook will come along and wake you up to the realization that there are some thieving scumbags still out there. I've had a five month ordeal with some bozo in Texas that got his feelings hurt because I put a 10 day hold on his check before sending him the item. I hope you are able to recover your funds.

I have never been a fan of GB and look but don't touch.

What really irks me is that gunbugs is a great guy IMO ... I wish nothing but good karma for gunbugs.
Best outcome possibly GB, sending positive vibes your way.

I appreciate that. Now it's just a game of winning against a scammer. I've got to contact the P.O. in Florida and have them turn the envelope around. I hope I can get them to answer the phone. Good luck with that.

I hope it turns put good also.

I generally ship a couple of days after I get payment. Holding a check for 10-days is the norm.
It can irritate me when someone holds my check and I've known them for years But, I can't blame a person?

I couldn't help buy notice that GB's starting bids for the current set of Lugers is even higher than just a few months ago AND they aren't getting any bids on many of them.

I keep seeing the same Lugers listed again and again..... waiting for another

Spent an hour and a half calling the Port St. Lucie P.O. this morning. Of course they never answered the phone. I'll give it one more try Monday morning. I have about a 30 minute window between them being open and having to leave for work.

Didn't the same seller have all of those lugers listed here? I think the ads are still up. Shows him being a member since 2006. Those were nice guns, but I believe were priced high and that''s why they didn't sell here.

gunbugs - I hope you do OK

What raised my caution flag was " i accept zelle and usps money order" in the ad
i.e. cash in advance - as used by Nigerian Princes and the widows of their Oil Ministers

Doesn't Eric (Cirelaw) live there? Perhaps he can help?

I do gunbroker for parts and things, and a few times for guns from dealers big problem is people never want to leave feedback which is problematic even if it was a good deal.

If you used a USPS money order, then Postal Regs come into play. If it is a scam, then a visit by a Postal Inspector would be called for, and that would be good for you, right?
