Default Luger Variations

One of the first luger books I bought (Oct. 2013) was "Luger Variations" Volume one. Just noticed today that on the back cover they are advertising volume two. On the inside title page it states that the book was published in 1959, 1964 and 1967. Were all of these books labeled as Volume one? When did he decide to publish volume two? I can find any number of volume one but no volume two. Is volume two really worth the hunt? Did Mr. Harry E. Jones finally combine the two volumes into one?

My rather tattered blue-linen covered edition has no dust cover and the copyright date is just 1959. Printed by Southern Press, Los Angeles California.

No mention of a second volume.

I've not seen or heard of a volume two; probably a plan, but abandoned after writing the first volume. Writing or assembling pictures for books is no fun.

Harry never got around to finishing volume two.

Harrys son is on the forums - has helped me out a time or two. Said that the huge pile of papers for vol 2 sat around too long after his dad passed. That the information became old and new books had come out by then.

As the ad on the back cover states he expected volume 2 to be available in the spring and was excepting orders - $12.00 postpaid...

I have the 1975 printing, it says:
''To be released Soon".

As noted above , clearly it was not finished.
