My first Artillery Luger
Hello Gentlemen!
I stepped into some good luck yesterday. I was at a gun show and had a nice 24" AR-15 and Leupold MK IV scope up for sale for $1900, and the Luger dealer I know traded that rifle for THIS: I'm jazzed. It's all matching but reblued. The magazine APPEARS to be matching, but there appears to be a WWII Waffenamt eagle stamped into the wood to the left of the SN, so it appears force matched. The only thing is, I need a new magazine ejector spring for it. Anyone have a spare? |

Very nice!! Good for you!!
Now you have to get all the stuff that goes with them, like the stock and holster... Stuff like that. It's got a nice looking reblue on it too... Not too bad... Have you shot it yet? I've always wanted to shoot an Arty...

I havent shot it yet. When I got it at the gun show, me and my brother and friend Jebb went out to lunch, and I was still so dazed that I locked the keys in my car when I threw my jacket in and closed the door. It cost me $62.00 to get the car unlocked, but I didn't care... I had a new Luger.
THanks Ed once again for getting Jebb his Luger. He just found a repro tailstock for it. (I gotta get me one of those as well as a repro holster.. can't afford a real holster that isn't all tore up.) |

I meant to say Magazine release spring... that small leaf spring with the simple in one end. I need one because mine is broken. I'm bidding on one on eBay but who know's if I'll win the auction. It would not hurt to have a spare. I fashioned a home meade one in the mean time, and it functions okay for time being.
