The Board of Directors of the Luger Forum have decided that effective immediately we will no longer endorse vendors and have dropped our "Preferred Vendor" designation.

We do not feel it is the place of The Luger Forum to be policing the activities of dealer transactions and reporting on deals that have gone sour and the miriad of other problems that can and do occur in free trade.

By the same token, we feel it is misrepresentative of us to be seen to be supporting certain vendors, when clearly, problems, have in the past, and continue presently, to occur between these vendors and members of this Forum. Such is the Business/Client relationship. If we do not feel comfortable making you aware of problems that have arisen in the past with a given vendor, then in all good conscience, we should not be promoting them. The "less experienced" new member will take that endorsement as gospel that nothing will go wrong, and that is the very disservice we would seek to avoid.

Members are still free to enquire of each other about vendors or services as part of their "due diligence", but I would however caution against "mud slinging" in the Forum, those comments are best conducted offline.
