Wonderful example of a Damascus blade. Having been a Martial Artist for 35 years, I own several samurai swords, and am particularly enamoured with Damascus blades. Thanks for sharing.

All styles, I began at 11 with Judo, and continued studying and practicing well into my late 40s. I have studied and practiced Judo, Tai Kwon Do, Hapkido, Tang Soo Do, Shotokan Karate, Iaido, Tai Chi Chuan, Aikido and Chi Gung. I hold a Black Belt in Tai Kwon Do. It was the Iaido (Japanese Sword Form) that generated my collection of swords.

Dok,

That is very impressive - thanks for sharing that with us. Tang Soo Do was Chuck Norris's first Karate style, later he went on to Shotokan Karate. the two styles are very close as you know. Norris was my instructor (35 years ago)and we also attended the same high school.

Thanks again, you have an impressive background.

Regards,

Rod

Doc.

He selected me among others to fight in the International Karate Championships in Long Beach, CA. I won't bore you with where I finished, but I still have the Ed Parker IKC patch. That tourniment had 3000 contestants and five doctors. Nothing like the old spinning knife hand to close a throat and win a match.
