Default numbers inside 1906 I T D

Hi I found these numbers on the inside of my luger by the mag releace button 569-14-1917 very small but there. Any help what they mean?

Possibly the SSAN of a previous owner who marked it for identification.

Other than that, I haven't a clue.

Looks like a Social Security number to me too.

Yes, SS is a Ponzi scheme introduced by the Roosevelt Administration-Franklin, not Teddy. Were a business to try to do that, the leadership would be indicted for fraud.

It bears notice that FDR was a camp follower in this matter. More pertinently to this forum, Social Security was the prized brainchild of yonder liberal fraudster, Otto von Bismarck.

I seem to remember some low life put a full page add in a paper a few years back on some retirement plan.
The state Attorney General brought him up on fraud charges. Stating it was a pyramid scheme.



It was an exact copy of the Social Security plan!
