Angry Bulgarian Luger somebody save it.

I am posting a new thread so it will get noticed. The seller who is currently parting out this all matching gun. He is asking $2000 which is too much, but will realize much less in parts value. Maybe he is open for offers? He did send me pics of the gun as a whole so here they are. From the pics it looks to be at least 85% or better.

I wonder if it would do any good to boycot bidding on parted out Lugers such as this. Dissimilar parts are one thing but this guy is a bonafied IDIOT. What kind of person would do this? Jerry Burney

Doug, this is the same one that I commented on the other day (not that I mind you bringing it up again )

I sent him a message, guess I was being excessivly honest tonight.. and sent him a note, asked him why he showed almost the same parts and said, parts for sale ONLY NOT frame, cuz, he has two pictures and they look like the same thing to an average joe (not you guys), and they will be po'd after they realize they are getting one or two small parts and NOTHING says bularian words on them, cuz the frame is NOT for sale!

I was lucky to win a refinished Bulgarian receiver and barrel from this seller recently on e-bay. It came all the way from Sofia, Bulgaria and NOT Massachusetts. Perhaps this seller has several of these variations that are rare here in the USA but maybe not in Bulgaria!

He says the Luger is for sale for 2K. I made an offer which was refused.
Checked his prior sales feedback of Luger parts, two were identified as shipped from Bulgaria. His method of payment seems international, i.e. PayPay, bank to bank, Western union. I then asked if the Luger was in the US and received no reply.

Added: Seller replied; Luger is in Bulgaria.

Ok, just found out from Ken D that the gun is in Bulgaria and the seller was going to sneak the parts and frame in from there! So what we need is a Moderator to try to find a forum member to buy it in Bulgaria. Otherwise I think the gun will be broken up for parts.

Ok, I just emailed the information Bob Simpson. Hopefully he either knows a buyer overseas or will buy it and use his import license to bring it stateside?

It's history now. The gavel went down on eleven parts for $1318.28.
All but three of the items went to the same individual.
