Ed,

Yep, and not from an Erfurt. No inspector mark on the base, full (not flat) diamond checking on follower button.

Ed,

The checkering on the follower button seems to be "pointed diamonds"...on most Erfurt mag's I have seen and own, the checkering is flat...and look like flat squares...no points.

Thanks Pete, I have seen a few examples of mags and followers, I believe you did one a while back.

Might be something I gather over the next couple of months....

But if anyone wants to start this, say, take pictures of each side and then the base and a description of what they believe it is; I'll gather it all together...

I'd like to see pictures of :

DWM commerical mags pre-WW1
DWM Military WW1
Erfurt Military WW1
DWM Commerical post WW1

DWM post WW1 military and/or police
Simson
Mauser
Krieghoff Commerical
Krieghoff Military (is there a difference?
??

I'd add it to the FAQ I made, and it would make sense to have 3 to 5 of EACH one, so there is a good represenitive showing.

Ed,

My "Pete's Erfurt Magazine Study" with excellent photos is in the Member Gallery on page 5...you are more than welcomed to gather up photos from there...

I also did a M1929 Swiss Bern magazine posting in the Swiss section, back in 9-12-2004 titled "M1929 Swiss Bern Magazine Question"...with lots of photos in that thread.

I also just recently posted some Bern '24 wooden magazine photos on 10-15-2005 in a thread titled "Bern Wooden Magazines".
