I had to go to Springfield last fall for my sister, but was too busy to visit the armory. I will be back and make sure I stop by there.

I use to go there a lot as a little kid back in the '60s. I was born and grew up in Springfield and my father did business with GE. He would leave me in the museum which at the time was run by retired employees, not the US Park Svc. It was a very hands-on, climb-on kind of place. I loved it.
