Default 1st time firing my Artillery - impressed!

Beautiful Sunday afternoon here in St Stephens, Alabama today. I finally got around to firing my 1917 Artillery Luger.
I must now state that this is the most accurate pistol I own. At 15 yds with Winchester white box ammo, I printed a 2" group with 5 rds.
My next volley measured 2 1/4".
After firing my 1914 30 caliber, I went back to the Artillery and fired another volley at just under 2".
I now have a whole new respect for these pistols.
Just thought you guys would like to know!

And mine shoots everything that I feed it. Cast or jacket, handloads or factory. Try that with the 4"ers.

Derek...At 15 yds ???

Did you shoot at a phone book in your living room?

These are built for long distance! Take it out and plink away at 100-200 yards. I was surprised at how well they shoot at those distances.

Glad to hear yours is grouping well. No malfunctions?

The only malfunction was my fault. The mag fits less-than-perfect, and I didn't have it locked in all the way. I probably had a semi limp grip when I fired the 1st time. It cycled, but didn't **** the action for the next shot.
All subsequent rds performed as expected.
Yes, I have about 400 acres at my disposal to fire the pistol, this was just a little test session. Can't wait to install the stock and see what she'll do at long range!

I just posted my results of shooting an artillery at 100 yards under the

"Shooting and Reloading "section.
