It is in .30 Cal, does that make a difference?

Yes, $600 is still a very good price for that Luger.

At that price, it could also be re-barreled as a 9mm since it's already mismatched.

"Matching" numbers by itself means little as far as a suitable shooter. It is the fit that counts. All one has to do is to peruse the "wanted" adds for parts to see that some parts flipping is going on.

To the collector, parts matching means "maybe" because of the above. Takes an eye with background to tell sometimes fwiw.

30 caliber I find more fun for various reasons, but I am a reloader. If you do not reload the 9mm will be easier on the ammo wallet.

commercial 30's have been a relative bargain for a while now, but as in all things, times are a changin.........

Ok, thanks for the replies. The concesus is that it is still a good buy @$600 even if it is chambered in .30 Cal, thanks

Yes. I wish I had a .30 shooter in addition to my 9mm shooter. I shot my first one when i got it and miss being able to shoot it
