stainless luger value ???????
Last weekend I saw a stainless Luger at a gun show. It was used but in excellent condition. cal. was 9mm. The makers name slips my mind right now but, I think it was made in the USA or marketed in the USA i'm not sure. The guy was asking 600$ for it. I may see this same guy this week again at another show. So my question to the experts is (is this gun worth 600$)I wish now that I would have looked at it closer!!!!! Does anyone have any info that would help me evaluate this Luger?
Thanks Beamersquared |

Considering the price of a new one, that price might not be too bad, if it looked the part of a new one. The stainless Lugers are made in Texas, and they have had several names on them, such as Mitchell, Stoger, AIMCO, SPM, and the latest name is simply a rename as were the last two I mentioned of the manufacturer. I've seen new ones running $700 to $800...

If you look in the member gallery in the stainless steel grouping, there is a copy of the current price list for new. They come with only one magazine and a plastic sleeve that fits over the magazine as a loading tool. The factory supplied case is a single gun off the shelf case. No other accessories. With that, you make the call on $600.00 for a used.
I think that they are great guns. But as the owner of two, I am very biased! |
