Post Jan Still's site

I know someone hacked his site, but I may have missed something. Is he ever coming back? I just started posting there also and do miss the great information there (as here). Any ideas if or when his site will be up and running again? Thank you all.

There is a problem, if that wasn't obvious from my companions above,

Brent is working on it, lost some sleep last night...

gunboard.com has been down for several weeks. I inquired about it here and a poster replied that he logged in to gunboard.com every evening. I suspected that he was wrong at the time. Armscenter.com is also down. Some of the hosted sites are operating, though.

Gunboard.com was down for about two days as they switched to a new program. Actually not down, but it took them about two days to switch from the old program to the new one - somthing about switching ip's or smething like that,

I was on it as recent as late yeserday evening.
Now it is down as well as well as Jan's new site.

This morning is the first time that I have been able to bring up the site in several weeks. And the first link that I tried did not work. I will try some more links.

Hi folks,

Yes, Jerry is right - the latest is the 12th and Jan expects that at the absolute latest, it will be the 15th. As I mentioned, when Jan's Forums are finalized - this Forum will be closed for a day or two, with a redirect link to Jan's Forums.

As well, I just re-registered on Jan's site as it's on-line and looking pretty good! BUT - the "official launch" is in a few days...

As a side note - I really applaud Jan Still and the folks at Tucos for not allowing a bunch of hackers destroy his Forum. I think it's terrific there will be - once again - an adjacent site for all and any Luger enthusiast and collectors.

It's what it's all about....

Yup, there are just a few bugs that Tuco is working out, but today everything has been working, or we know where the problems lie and are trying to fix how pictures show up.

Jan said that he would like to go live Friday, but maybe go live for Luger people and then go live for gunboards a few days later.

Does anyone know if we will all have to re-register to access Jan's site?

And when you reregister, the name that will show is the user name, so it is easy to screw up, but as of today, Jan and I have admin rights and can fix problems like that.

When I click on Jan's old site "favorite", I get a notice that the new site will be coming back September 5th!!! Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, the server IP is totally different, you need to use the one that John suggested.
