Default About "The jewel"

Hi,

I've got a question about this proof marks:

The mark left of the crown, is it an eagle? Is it imperial or East German?

Thanks!

My understanding is that it's East German and is part of the inspection stamp done during the rework. I too would welcome any opinions.

What exactly does the 1976 indicate? Is that somehow tied to that stamp?

Hi,

are you really sure this is the date? I would say it is the serial of the pistole because the "79" is on the other gun parts too.

And the eagle is really DDR? Not imperial army?
