All,
This was accomplished only with the assistance of our own John D, a Kriegie expert, who was willing and helpful in connecting a willing seller and a willing buyer reach a fair deal on a rare rig. I think John D. is the kinda guy we should all hope our kids/grand kids emulate. After all, he makes all this possible with out a profit motive in sight. Again, to John D..... a heart felt tip of the beret and a lift of the snifter. Cheers! Tom A. |

Thanks Tom,
Now - can I change your Avatar from that long barreled thingy you currently have??? After all.... If it's not a Kreighoff - it's a reproduction (apologies to Ron Wood ) Welcome Tom - to the wonderful world of Krieghoffs. There are only a few Krieg "die-hards" around - but you are most welcomed into this community... Congrats again on this excellent purchase. Your RIG is outstanding, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did performing the analysis. I'm certain you will.... |

Hi John,
While I appreciate your enthusiasm for Krieghoffs, I wish to retain the '04 avitar for the present. It was, after all, the first one in military service. Tom A. |

My appoligies to all, they made me drink a few tonight.... (PS, if its a Luger its okay, unless Ron can get me a Test Luger ) Ed

Tom, Congrats! Beautiful Nav... I mean Kreighoff, man, that sounds weird directed at you!
As for that John D. guy, he is one of the few people I would trust in this type of situation, he has always been as good as gold to me, and I trust and value his opinion, very much! Oh, BTW Tom, If you would be so kind as to check your Private Messages, you should have one from me about some Navy documents... Best Regards to you both, Brandon |

Hey Brandon!!!!
Can you do me a favor - and start a new thread and bring us all up do date about how your collection is coming? You, my friend - is what "collecting" is all about. I mean, you are "Member #5" here, and your enthusiasm is what it's all about. With over 2,000 folks here - there are a lot of newer LugerForum folks who won't know what we, the "old guys" - remember about you and how you came to be a part of this community so many years ago... Oh - and when you are ready to acquire your HK...??? Just ask - and anything you need for info is yours for the asking.... My Best to you always..! John |

John, no problem, I will compose a short description of the items in my little collection, and maybe a group photo... Will try to post it tomorrow!
Thanks for the offer on the Kreig info, I'll be contacting you one of these days! P.S. Don't tell him, but I think Ed is up to some sneaky business... Best Regards! |

Hey Brandon..!
I look forward to your update!!! Sheesh - you've been around on these Forums since the beginning (when was that??!!). In fact - did you notice that you have a lower Member number then even Ed?? And speaking of Ed.... Yea - he's always trying some devious method to acquire an HK. Just look at his post above yours as yet ANOTHER attempt... Sad, sad, sad.... LOL!!!! |

Hi lugercollector..!!!
My thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed it..! Hopefully, when Tom has it in his hands, we can add some pictures of some of the internals, like the Digit Inspector marks in the front well, the marking on the ejector, sear bar, etc.. I would have posted those yesterday as well - but, I tried to leave something for Tom to brag about |
