This gun has a rather hard to find "dual purpose" pigskin holster. I like these guns especially when they are complete "rigs". Some of the small parts are restamped by the East Germans to make it all matching.

Very Nice Mark, and also one of the nicest looking sets of East German VOPO bakelite grips I have ever seen... I like these grips for shooting because they are a good fit in the hand, a good fit on the pistol, and very durable and scratch resistant...

All of my "shooters" have the same "bullseye" grips on them. The Russian grips break easy ... I think they are plastic, not bakelite.

I bought a bunch of these grips for my other "shooters" for $25 a pop from Tom Heller but they are getting hard to find.

I think these guns are sleepers... they are their own bit of history and will become more collectible as time passes...

Just acquired a somewhat similar but decisively different piece. It is an East German manufactured-not re-worked-piece. Apparently made on Krieghoff tooling, the gun is rather crudely finished, is covered with East German proofs, and has a SN prefixed with an N. The magazine matches. Condition of the piece - about 98%-suggests it went from the manufacturer to some Ost Polezi's tisch drawer. It has the bulls eye grips.

Am told there is a DWJ article about these pistols, but I haven't found it...yet.
