Wes,

I'm not Ted, but I would recommend a reburial, with honor!!

Dang, Wes! Talk about humidity problems at my house, you must need an aqualung to get around your house! If this is the pride of your collection,I'll take up a fund-raiser and see about getting you a stainless luger.
If I don't get the under grip corrosion stopped on my DWM it's going to look like that.

Looks like some sharpshooting G.I. blasted it out of the German solder's hand, and took him prisoner, I bet. Incidently, please accept my apology on behalf of the little green icon guy, I didn't realize he was going to stick his tongue out at you.

You need a new gunsmith. He did a lousy job on the muzzle brake.... too far back; only one side; etc.

I don't speak for Thor, but in this case, the only refinishing I can recommend would be black Rustoleum...

It would make a great Umbrella or Cane handle or a Gear shift knob...

Were you able to determine it's origin Wes? What vintage is this old soldier from?

Looks like a good candidate for Bondo and a candy paint job.

Is this Himmler's Luger recovered from the sunken U-boat he escaped to Texas in?
