Thank you all for the birthday greetings.

I "celebrated" this year with a replacement lens for my eye in the first of two cataract surgeries. It went well, and I'm seeing better out of that eye than I have in years.

The remarkable thing is the color shift away from yellow and back to pure white (a blue shift). On to the next eye in a few weeks...

So... this year's birthday gift is some insight.
