Chapman, NE. A 10yr old shot a 4 yr old with a "BB gun" with the shot going into the youngsters heart, killing him! The 10 yr old was an out-of-state visitor. The incident is still under investigation.

A terrible thing to happen to the little 4yr old and for that fact, the family. Don't know if the gun was a BB or pellet gun at this point or the fate of the 10yr old.

The BB gun was a model 880 pump with fps up to 665 as noted in the Lincoln NE Journal Star. My posting of this info is a reminder that a "BB gun" is a lethal weapon in the wrong hands. The mfg states "for 16yrs or older".
