Lugerdoc Patron LugerForum Patron Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: POB 398 St.Charles,MO. 63302 Posts: 5,089 Thanks: 6 Thanked 736 Times in 483 Posts	David, Since the center toggle axel lies BELOW a line drawn thru the forward & rear axels, recoil forces the toggle down, until the "ears" are cammed up by hitting the frame, causing the toggle action to open. This causes no pressure on the toggle lock as the toggle part has already moved off of the frame part, before the ears hit the frame and are lifted.
