Post sunday afternoon

left the lugers and c96 at home today. decided to do a little allied ww1 at the range today. trying to be artsy fartsy after cleaning them before putting them back in the safe for next year.

Nice showing, I used to have a S&W 1917 (yours is a Colt isn't it), and the 1911 is a nice gun too!

thanks, Ed. It's a colt, about 99% arsenal refinish (B.A.K.), about 1919. the 1911 is about 80% original finish, a springfield 1914 issue. in the upper left corner is a 1968 Govt model that was made into a hardball match gun by Clark Customs in 1968. the rest, well, that's the problem I get into collecting weaponry. I want all the crap that goes with it.
