Just saw this now.... Yes, my wife and I are both believers, and have seen firsthand what "effective prayer" (James 5) can do.

Any developments since this post? We're now a week later.

Thanks for asking... Here is an update for all my friends who have been so kind and offered prayers and moral support during this trying time. I can report today that prayer indeed still works!

My wife Peggy and I met with her oncologist/surgeon yesterday, and based on all imaging that has taken place so far, it is the doctor's opinion that:

1. There appears to be only one small instance of cancer and it is by all indications to be Stage 1.
2. Of the known types of breast cancer that exist, it is only common to 3% of those who have been diagnosed with the affliction
3. It is the least aggressive (slow growing) breast cancer
4. All tests that would be hoped to have positive results were positive, (and those that would be hoped to be negative also swung as hoped).

To validate the Dr.'s diagnosis, a full MRI will happen on December 30th to make sure there are no other instances existing elsewhere that haven't been noticed until now.

Surgery will take place on Jan 5th to remove what has been found.

So all in all, if cancer is the diagnosis, the report couldn't have been much more positive...

Please keep those prayers coming in... They have worked wonders, and certainly relieved a lot of stress for us.

KJV James 5:16 "...The fervent effectual prayers of a righteous man availeth much"
