Folks,

I find it quite amazing that the leftards are criticizing Palin's "Inexperience". Hell's bells, how does 143 days as a memeber of the worlds most expensive and unproductive hot air factory make one prepared for anything except endorsing taxpayer funded pay checks? Voting record unknown.
The bottom of the Republican ticket has more real-life experience and executive experience in local and state government, not to mention P&L experience ,than that pathetic wanna be Barry Sweto or B. Hussein Obama or whatever his real name is.
A columnist, last week gave a great explanation for Obama-rama-lama-ding-dong. He pointed out that he fills the role of Messiah in the Socialist/Radical Liberal Pantheon, decended to Earth to expiate the sins that socialists/rad liberals believe taint us white folks :the sin of slavery and Jim Crow.

One minor problem. Unless you are a socialist/ rad liberal, you probably don't feel collectively or personally guilty for something that was done before your grandfather was born. I know I don't even though my family, prior to the unpleasantries between the north and south, were indeed slave holders. That was then; this is NOW. Christians and Jews do not believe the sins of the father are borne by the sons; rad libs and socialists do.

Take away the messianic trappings and the chanting mantras and you find you have basically a Chicago machine politician who has a history of long term personal relationships with unrepentant terrorists (Ayers and Dorhn), racketeers (Rezko), Anti-American radicals (Wright and his wife) as well as assorted radical islamists.

Give me the snowmobile mom who moose hunts, wins basketball games while playing with a stress fracture and has a son in the Army bound for Iraq.

As a life long Republican I am still disappointed in Palin's selection. If some one has to take over the wheel I would much prefer they have a drivers license than a learners permit. Bill

Bill, remember Harry Truman? he did all right (for that party anyhow). I am not sure his time as a Missouri judge made him ready for the office. It is about character as was said above. Just think of some of the recent potential occupents, Al Gore? Dan Quayle? Spiro Agnew? or the other option, Joe Biden, Senator from Delaware?

So far I've been pleased with Governor Palin. I liked her renegotiation of the gas pipeline deal and her tough stance on several in State issues. I believe she's been an excellent alternative to the â??good old boysâ? one usually sees here.

Palin is the only reason I'd vote for McCain. I had planned to sit out the Presidential race this year and limit my vote to the Congressional and State races. Now I'll reevaluate my position. She's more than the Republican/semi-Democrats I've seen in recent years.

I must be honest and say that as a life long Republican my vote for McCain, was more a vote against Obama and Democratic socialistic agenda. However I do like his VP pick, talk about â??change and fresh new perspectiveâ?Â

You donâ??t think that Obama is going to take his queue from the likes of Nancy Pelosi and those just like her ? If they have their way, the whole country will be like the state of Kalifornia.

If one votes on the MORAL ISSUES alone, the choice is very clear

Itâ??s hard for me to understand how anyone who is a member of this Forum could stand up for an anti-gun candidate, much less vote for them. What other constitutional principals does he want limit or eliminate?

Jim

Amen Jim!!.

I think Mr. McCain made a fantastic pick. Reading her Bio's. She's smart, a fierce competitor, and shares the values of us "normal" folks. They have a business that rises and falls with their productive capability. Which is what made this great country what it is today. They pay taxes, make payroll, while trying to raise their family.

She's an "outsider" and I think it's great!! Exactly what we need.

I love it, " Mrs. Palin goes to Washington"

Below is a post that I put on the NAPCA Forum yesterday at the request of Tom Knox.
As I live I in Alaska, Tom requested I post my thoughts on Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, the Vice President nominee.
In 1987 she graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Idaho..
She is a life member of the NRA, own guns, and hunts moose and caribou.
Recently, some key Republican members of the Alaska State Legislature accepted bribes to cut taxes to big oil companies. These Legislatures bragged that they were the old corruptibles (some later pled guilty and others were indited). Gov. Palin went after the Legislature to rescind this corrupt tax cut. By calling a special session she held the Legislatures feet to the fire and finally forced them to restore the tax to its pre-bribes level.
She is tough, honest, smart, very capable, and a gun owner and hunter.
(Note: many network reporters argue that Sarah Palin has to live and work in the Washington DC beltway for a number of years to be qualified to be president. With a Congressional approval rate of 9 percent (Palin has an 80 percent approval rating) I would suggest that living in the Washington DC beltway may be a serious detriment to being Vice-president or President. Alaska borders on Russia at one point and is about as far away from the beltway as you can get.)

She is a perfect pick with a degree in journalism .Her book THE RISE AND FALL OF JOHN McCAIN should be well written. McCain made a hugh mistake, monumental the worse pick since eagleton.State Champs ( Al bundy). Life NRA ($500.00) 2nd place Miss Alaska,Now those or the kind of qualifications this country needs. She is also very good looking which is very important.I hope she can help me with my American values like Bush helped me.

She also axed the "Bridge to nowhere" a multi million dollar pork project in the Ketchikan area. The Governor before her purchased a jet for the Governor's office. She sold it on Ebay and made a profit. She was also selected to be on some Republican commitee. When she saw all the corruption going on she quit and was very public about it.

Vote for McCann anyway, so I did not track the candidates. But I heard he will be Bush #2. That causes some concerns.

Not sure how he could be Bush #2; McCain has a bit of a different reputation than Bush and can't be compared.

Although if this gets to be a mud slinging contest, I may just close this here thread.....

I was going to hold my nose and vote for McCain.
I am disapointed with him but scared to death with Obama.
Now it looks like I can walk in and vote for Sarah.

One question - does everyone expect McCain to die in office?

I've had four calls from people Outside, and at some point in the conversation about Palin they all wanted to know if I thought she could stand up to Putin.

Imperial Arms,

Just a point of clarification. Dubya and Cheney and McCain are NOT republicans! I know, that may come as a surprise. They are neocons (short for neoconservatives) which roughly translated means Democrat war-mongers masquerading as Republicans. The odd thing is they don't even hide their neocon status but admit it freely. Google their names along with the word 'neocon' and prepare to be shocked.

Bottom line: we have all been had! (I voted for that stupid SOB Bush not once but twice! Brother am I ever ashamed of myself.)

The old "waste your vote" gag was invented by the two-party advocates to keep you away from other ideas. The only wasted vote is the one you cast for the person you already know is a lying scoundrel.
